Certainly, the end times will surprise most of those who consider themselves Christians. Not only for the fact of the disasters, but above all, the separation of the so-called chosen from the rejected. It will be like what happened during the time of Gideon, when 32,000 men of Israel presented themselves for war, but only 300 were chosen. This means that less than 1% were chosen.

Continuing the prophecies, the Lord Jesus said:

But he who endures to the end shall be saved. Matthew 24.13

Lately, who has persevered in the face of small trials?

And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations; and then the end will come. Matthew 24.14

Only those who are saved are interested, in one way or another, in saving others.

“Therefore when you see the ‘abomination of desolation’, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place” (whoever reads, let him understand)… Matthew 24.15

During the Great Tribulation, which is the reign of the antichrist, he will build the 3rd temple in Jerusalem and will sit there “in the holy place”;

Then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains. Let him who is on the housetop not go down to take anything out of his house. And let him who is in the field not go back to get his clothes. But woe to those who are pregnant and to those who are nursing babies in those days! Matthew 24.16-19

The world will become like poking a stick in an anthill: each person running, trying to save their own life. I can imagine the hell mankind will suffer in those days.

For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time, no, nor ever shall be.

Imagine the size of the tribulation when the Lord says GREAT TRIBULATION! It will be so astounding that He adds:

And unless those days were shortened, no flesh would be saved; but for the elect’s sake those days will be shortened. Matthew 24.21-22

Think about it and then draw your own conclusions…
