Women

wmnred

Wives, mothers, sisters, daughters, aunts, coworkers… we often label ourselves by what we do, who we are related to, and how others see us.  It’s a struggle for many women to balance all the expectations that they feel they have to live up to – career, family, education, appearance, marriage and relationships. There’s always the tension between when to be tough, when to be feminine, to be assertive, but not pushy, to be an attentive mother and wife, and to be a go-getter on the  job, to be gracious while not getting run over in a competitive workforce.  It’s a confusing time to be a woman!

But God sees women with different eyes, and sees our true worth and beauty far beyond the judgments of this world.  This is what this section is all about, enjoy!

"Rules for being humans: you will need to learn lessons. There are no mistakes – only lessons. A lesson is repeated until learned. If you don't learn lessons they get harder (pain is one way the universe gets your attention). You'll know you've learned the lesson when your actions change."
